If you’re hurting for health, douse the torch on the right with Cappy to reveal a Life-Up Heart. When you get across, leave the Goombas behind and use the flower to get up to the next platform. If you’re feeling gutsy, hop on with the stack of Goombas to reach the Sand Kingdom Purple Coins floating up on the side. When you’re ready, head to the moving platforms and carefully make your way across. There’s also a giant chain-reaction of coins you can get in the far corner, but it will trigger a never-ending loop of shockwaves that might be a pain to deal with - your call. Up on the next long curving icy platform, there’s more Goombas - including a very huge tower of them! If you want to get a nearby Power Moon high up - you’ll need to Capture the stack of Goombas, then lead them back to a stone platform where a few more are located - jump out of the capture and take over the trio, and place them on top of the pillar to reach the Power Moon.

On the other side, you can do it again to another nearby shockwave generator to get at some Sand Kingdom Purple Coins on the other side of the blocks, or go left past the Goomba (note - when capturing a Goomba, you’ll find they have incredible traction and can’t slip on the ice). Make your way carefully along the ice to a stone blockade - and throw your cap towards the shockwave device to explode the blocks. If you need to get back safely, there’s a Warp Pipe right next to the area you fell into. Make your way from the ruins and dodge any enemies you come across until you can jump in.Īt the bottom of the pit, you’ll find yourself in a huge area comprised of long and precarious icy platforms over the abyss. Since you can’t get up to the pyramid anymore, you’ll be going inside the hole instead.
